Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) held its annual induction ceremony for 458 persons who were successful in the 2023 Professional Examinations.
The Induction ceremony was an Oath taking event which confirms the entry of their names in the relevant part of the Councils Registrer
The Pre – Induction Lectures were delivered by three Guest Speakers on 24thApril Viz;
- Topic: The Corner Stones for a Successful Professional Career in Land Surveying ;- Adewebi O. V. fnis
- Topic :- The Growth Mentality ;- Isaac Onoja
- Topic : – The Duties, Rights and Liabilities of Surveyors in Nigeria ;- Bar. Osaretin Ogbebor esq.
The Induction Ceremony was held on 25th April, 2024 at Chida International Hotel Utako District , Abuja.
In attendance were dignitaries from all works of life including Hon. Minister of State for Housing and Urban development Alhaji Abdulahi Tijani Gwarzo, The Surveyor General of the Federation (OSGoF) – Surv. Abdulganiyu A. Adebomehim mnis, Former SURCON Presidents :- Surv. Abdulganiyu Agunbiade fnis, Surv. Nwabichie Clement fnis, NIS President, Former Council members and Registrars and all the Management and staff of SURCON.
Sister Regulatory bodies ARCON, COREN, ESVABON, CORBON and some other invitees were also present to deliver Goodwill messages.,
Awards were Presented to candidates who had distinguished themselves during the 2023 SURCON Professional Examination as listed below : –
